WWT The National Wetland Centre Wales received hundreds of entries for their 2007 competition - here's a sample of some of the really strong images.
All the entries for the contest were taken at one of WWT's nine centres across the UK with the majority of entries being taken at the Llanelli Centre.
The centre in South West Wales, the only one of its kind in Wales, stretches over some 550 acres of the Burry Inlet. Its lakes, pools, lagoons and reed beds are home to a diversity of wild species from dragonflies to little egrets.

A visit to the WWT near Llanelli is a great day out for the young and not so young. The staff at the centre are always polite and ready to give answers to any questions asked.
