Find out more about these creatures in our latest nature images. Dolphin watchers have been recording interesting sightings in recent weeks, and, as the countdown begins to National Whale and Dolphin Watch in July, experts are hoping for many more.

Some of the sightings have included unusually large numbers of bottlenose dolphins outside Cardigan Bay where they normally reside in summer, even spotted as far east as Rhyl on the edge of Liverpool Bay. Other unusual sightings have included common dolphins off the Gower coast. Excellent survey conditions have also enabled surveyors to record encouraging numbers of both bottlenose dolphins and harbor porpoises in Cardigan Bay.

We are just going to visit Swansea area. Before that I am checking BBC's this excellent arrangement to find some inspiration. A good collection of photographs. I will try to upload some when I will return.

I love this site on the BBC. I am an amateur photographer and have sent a few of my pictures in because my favourite pastime is walking around Wales and making a diary of all the places I go using my photography. I really enjoy looking at other people's photography and as I am a relatively new starter. It has given me lots of inspiration and help to improve the quality of my photographs, please continue to give us all of this pleasure.

Just found the website. Great to see pictures of home. I came to live in B/port when my parents retired and we lived on the Shoreline. I went to the then B/port Central school (Evans mod was teaching at that time!!) and if anyone remembers me please leave a message. I moved some years later to Isgraig and then Tan y Bryn but haven't been back to live since 1985. I hope to be home for the carnival this year and to look up old friends. What I miss most of all is seeing all the little girls going to school in Welsh costume on Dewi Sant and daffodils.
