As tutor R.M Casey from the school writes:
One of the tragedy's victims, George Rees from Penclawdd, was an ardent member of the congregation of Evan Roberts of Loughor, who led the religious revival of 1905.
He had a premonition of his impending death. He believed God spoke to him in a dream, calling him to heaven.
He shared this dream with friends, but they told him not to worry. Sadly his dream was to come true.
The children of Tregwyr school studied the incident through a poem / song, and newspaper articles published at the time, in order to produce the project.

I was very impressed with the quality of the childrens work that must of taken a lot of time and effort. I am also stunned by the event that took place, I had no idea about this before looking at the site.

I am the grandson of George Rees of Penclawdd who was killed in this disaster I was most impressed by the results of the project undertaken by the pupils of the school. It provides me with a great deal of information which I shall be able to pass on to my grandchildren.
