BBC New Talent Band Contest - Carmarthen
Saturday 29 October 2005 saw some of the area's hottest new music acts gather together for the BBC New Talent / BBC Wales Bands Contest. In front of a panel of music industry judges and BBC DJs, the six acts battled it out for a prize which includes guaranteed airplay on Radio 1, Radio Wales and Radio Cymru, the chance to record a professional demo and support a major UK act live.
The competition was tough, but after much deliberation the judges picked Supergene as the overall winners. Congratulations to them and all the finalists! Here's a gallery of what went on during the day:
