Throughout the summer I watched the swans on the canal with increasing delight at the careful parenting of the cygnets - especially when older the small flotilla formed 'line ahead' to take excursions up the canal. Your photographs have captured so much of the swan year that I can only register a humble thank you.

Absolutely amazing pictures Mike, I love your work - awesome! I have not seen swans for quite a while - it reminds me of a pair of swans that used to live on the canal outside the Metal Box in Neath! (I don't think it's called Metal Box anymore I worked there from 1975-1982) Even though I'm here in Chi-Town my heart lies in Wales! Keep up the great work!

Hi,
I am currently watching 2 swans which had a signet leave the safety of their parents gaze 2-3 months ago, and wondered if you could advise as to when I may expect to see their new arrivals?
I am hopeful it will around the month of May/June but would be grateful if you could advise me further.

So enjoyed the pictures of the Swans. We travel the road down to Resolven and see a pair of swans on the water to the left. These swans are always in the distance on the far bank. Thank you for your tremendous photography and patience in giving us a closer look.

This is a fantastic journey to take in the life of the English white swans! Nearly exactly the same as our Australian swans - except for colour. Our Australian native swans are black feathered. The babies though are born with grey down that the United Kingdom swans have. Mr. Mike Davies is to be congratulated for his fine efforts in capturing this tale!
