St. Clears is a small town in West Carmarthenshire in a predominantly agricultural area. We spent time here with locals - Mayor Cllr Edmund Davies, John Rees and Mike Fletcher and they showed us some of the historical secrets of the area.

My aunt was the headmistress of the school at St Clears a long time ago. Wondered if anyone knew her?..Gwyneth May Morris of Panteg Farm!

I have known and admired the 'normalness' of this attractive little town for many years. As a Dylan Thomas fan, I am fascinated to learn the tid bits mentioned in the website. Congratulations on an interesting piece of work. I'm looking forward to visiting the area soon. Regards, David
