Merlin the wizard with Georgia Rollinson, aged six, from Johnstown, and her teddy bear Barnaby.
After coracle racing and the final of 'Grab a Grand' on the opening Friday night, the weekend's full programme started with a fancy-dress procession through the town centre on Saturday. At the park live music, a children's entertainment village, battlefield re-enactments, a fun fair, arts & crafts stalls, entertainers and a children's village pulled in the crowds.
