We just visited South Wales and spent ten days in Laugharne in early April. It was the most beautiful place at this of the year and a definite spot away from the rest of the busy world. We also met the most amazing and friendly people in Laugharne. Our sons thought that this was the most amazing vacation - especially the Castle, Boathouse and just early morning walking on the hills. What a beautiful place!

I visited Laugharne in July this year, as I have just found out that my family originate from there. I was fostered and never knew any of my family. It was fascinating to visit and I would like to thank the library for all the help they gave me in my search. Apparently my grandfather used to drink with Dylan Thomas. I think Laugharne is a beautiful place and would love to move there if only I could( maybe when I retire).
