Travelling back and forth between Llanelli and London, I feel Llanelli has really changed in past few years. The town is becoming a ghost town with most of the major shops moving to the Trostre. I fear what will happen to this once buzzing market town, when everyone now goes to the Trostre. We need more life back in the town. All these retail parks although they bring jobs to the area are ruining what was once a beautiful countryside.

I think the pictures of Llanelli are great, it shows that there is more to Llanelli than people think, although it is only a small place in comparison to Swansea or Cardiff, Llanelli is a much better place to be than both of them.

I do admit Llanelli is a beautiful place and at the same time an eternal curse on my soul as I always find myself going back there! In truth I quite simply hate the place. I am currently living in France and given a choice I would never return to Llanelli.

I was born in Trimsaran. Last time I was in Llanelli was in 1973 just before we left for Australia. Loved Grahams glorious photographs, they are brilliant and bring back lovely memories.
