Swansea's Dylan Thomas Centre was the main focal point
for the annual Dylan Thomas Festival - from October 27 to November 10, 2006. Talks, exhibitions and events were hosted about Dylan's life and works and on the themes that run through his poetry and prose.
November 2 saw the premiere of "Dylan Thomas in London" starring Peter Read as the great man. Adapted by Gwynne Edwards, predominantly from Dylan Thomas' own words. It's based on his time in London with a variety of Soho characters, all played by Welsh actors.
