Re: "The old folks in Saundersfoot" photo. Would I be correct in thinking the lady 2nd from the left was Mrs. Pearce who used to keep the Coffe Tavern? Also gentleman in the back 3rd from left was Mr. Beddoe? Mum and I were born in Plantation Cottage, Sandyhill Road so I was anxious to find some familiar faces. Lovely to see the old photos.

Hi, Looking at the 1861 census, there is only one Williams family in Broom at that time. RG9/4151/Fol20/Page16 Sched 68 gives the following info:- James Williams,36,Collier,Born in Begelly
Rebecca Williams,37, , ditto
John Williams,16, Collier, ditto
Morris Williams,14, ditto, ditto
David Williams,12, ditto, ditto
Margaret ditto,10,Scholar, ditto
George ditto, 7, ditto , ditto
David? ditto, 5, ditto , ditto
