Fab walk from Laurenny quay through the oak woods and out onto the gorgeous estuary. Three miles of National Trust countryside (see the website) takes about just over an hour and you will wonder why you are there alone because everyone should experience it! At the finish, sit and relax watching the boats on the quay and sample the delicious food at the award winning tearooms - heaven on earth and a wonderful day out!

Debra of Saudi Arabia Al Hassa

I have sent the past 13 years in the Gulf and did not realise just how beautiful Wales was. I loved and have visited all the castles in Wales and remember the drive from Swansea with my parents as a child usually on a Bank Holiday day out with sandwiches and flasks of tea( dodging the rain).

The Welsh villages with their quaint and quirky charm. My highlight was fish and chips on the way home. Now that is what I miss living in Saudi Arabia. I am planning to show my Saudi Husband the beauty of Wales and visit all of Wales beautiful castles this summer..

Walks on the Gower coast and cliffs, Rhossili, Llangennith, Oxwich, Tenby, Port Eynon, Singleton Park and Mumbles.

Remember Joe's ice cream parlour – there has never been a taste to beat that one! Oh I do miss Wales, the rain, the greenery, rushing to collect the post though the letter box and dodge the neighbopurs in your pajamas to collect the milk on the doorstep - everyday things you tasks for granted until you do not have them.

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, Tenby to Saundersfoot is beautiful. Stop off at Monkstone Point beach, a lot quieter than surrounding beaches in the summer.

Being a walking fanatic, I know better than most the best places to go. Why not try the walk from Port Talbot town centre, along the River Afan, along Newbridge Road, and back to my haven, that is Sandfields. The walk itself is lovely, and you see all sorts of wildlife. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

    Taff from St Clears
I dont think you could better the walk from Stackpole Quay past Barafundle Bay and on to St Govans, one of the best walks along the Pembrokeshire cliff trail.

Walking on the seafront at Aberavon is wonderful in the summer time. I always enjoy stopping off for an ice cream or three!!! A real treat.
