I love RUGBY and especially love watching Wales play down in Caerdydd! But I've recently been drawn to football because watching England go out of the World Cup was fantastic! Ronaldo is a legend!!!

Tell me why it is that I read such negative things on the sport pages about any Welsh team be it football, rugby etc.

I have been a Pittsburgh Steelers fan since I was 13 am now 63 so that is 50 years. They have won many super bowls but have lost more but I'd never say mean things about anyone player as they all do their best.

Why are people blaming Mr Jackett for the Swans losses? One person does not have the power to make a team lose. They must make a team effort and I am sure they are...who wants to lose?

What is this thing about beating the English -remember "Who are they anyway?" Can you tell I am an American of Welsh ancestors...

I have been to every away game in the last 4 years watching the Swans and I have to say that I have never heard an atmosphere like The Vetch, let's get behind the lads tonight and get that top spot but this time let's keep it.

Up the Swans.

I am the captain of my rugby team P Dock seconds. Last year I won the best player award this was my proudest moment ever! My favourite player is Tal Selley from Llanelli. He is a star!

I love watching the Welsh footie heroes like Giggsy weaving their magic. He is my inspiration. I played a game yesterday and every time I got in a difficult situation I thought to myself, "what would Giggsy do now."
Mon Aug 2 14:10:50 2004

Cheeky Phills from Ystradgynlais
There are great venues throught the nation but for me your can't beat the atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon down at the recreation ground in Ystradgynlais, when locals from Cwmllynfell make the journey down for an afternoon of tea and biscuits. (Hob-Knobs - now there's a biscuit for dunking.)
Thu May 27 18:14:12 2004

The Wizzards every time! I love waking up on the weekend and hearing the crowd of Aberafan screaming through my bedroom window. Get up run to the game, then a real nice pint afterwards. Unbeatable!
Fri Feb 27 13:12:46 2004

It has to be Stradey Park. What a ground and a team fit enough to grace any stadium in the world!

Stradey Park has a firm hold of my heart. Llanelli have fantastic players, but even they agree that it's the atmosphere that the supporters create that pushes them that extra few yards
Fri Feb 27 13:05:35 2004

Bob from Bryncoch
When it comes to atmosphere - nowhere beats Stradey Park in Llanelli. This has got to be one of the best sporting venues in Wales
Fri Feb 27 13:05:15 2004

Stradey Park has to be the friendliest ground.Having the gratest rugby club in the world and knowledgable fans makes it a great place to be. A pint of Felinfoel after the game makes for a terrific time
