Car Boot is on fridays 4 - 7ish, wednesdays (not sure what time it starts think its about half 7 or earlier and the market is on sunday which has got a car boot area - starts at about half 8 I think, dont know the exact start times but I will find out sunday for you all, the exact times, and if you want to do a boot the exact times to be there although if you want to do it on the friday be there between 3 and half past. As I said I will find out the exact times sunday.

Why has not one of all of the above comments answered what time Julians starts on Sundays in Swansea... I have done it once before but i cant remember what time i got there .... i think it was around 0800 hrs but can tbe sure. Singleton is amazing but recently they are turning people away BEFORE 0530 hrs ..im known regular and only just got thru by playing my face - and still got stuck on the curb! VERY VERY BUSY!!! But worth it you can clear £500 - £1000 easily with the right stuff. Clydach is good on Wednesdays allindoor with a few spaces out the back (outdoor) be there by 0700 at! the latest - they have recently started doin Fridays which have peterred off but with a little support from all you keen booters stands to be one of the best starts 1500 but recently been 1400 hrs. Carmarthen Showground - i havent done it but said to be good. Stormy Down Bridgend - excellent but be there before 0600 hrs on Sundays. Bessemmer Road in Cardiff Saturdays and Sundays - DONT Get there before 0900 hrs as it is on a fruit market which is open until that point...

Singleton is the best car booty around - I normally do about £200 with bric a brac at other car boots but on Singleton I always clear £500 (really!) By the way ignore the idiots who say it's on a Sunday IT IS ON A SATURDAY and be there at about 4.30/4.45am if you want a pitch in the summer.(posted May 2008)

Singleton Hospital Car Boot sale on a Sunday morning they open the gates at 5.30am and a line of vehicles at the gateby 6.15am its nearly full and there's even buyers at this time in the morning.

Clydach car boot on a Wed has more - you can get a haircut there for £3 for a man, £5 for a woman - just go into the unit and take a number giving you a chance to grab a bargain give them a try you wont be sorry - it's open at 9am

I`ve done Stormy a couple of times, it`s every sunday morning, I`m usually there for 7am. Very busy as long as its not raining. If your going from Efail Isaf you need to get on to the motorway until the Pyle junction I think it`s 37, take the 3rd exit off the roundabout, then take the 3rd exit off the next roundabout again, you`ll now be on a dual carriageway, keep driving until you get to a right turning, there`s 2 very close together take second one, there`s a phonebox on the corner of the one your meant to take. Drive for about 100 yards turn right and left at the gates and your there. Can anyone tell me when there`s a car boot sale in Porthcawl?

Stormy Down market has a huge bootsale on a sunday but you must get there very early to have a indoor pitch, all the regulars get there first, unless you are early, as in 6 ish! Otherwise you are outside especially in this weather it wont be fun!!!

Stormy Down is every Sunday and there is one on August bank holiday Monday as well. It starts early around 7am and it is opposite Happy Valley caravan park near the civic amenties site. Follow the cars theres always a convoy!

I love Farmers' Markets and visit them whenever I can. I've been to Fishguard, Haverfordwest, Llandovery, Cardigan, Ystradgynlais, Bridgend(Porthcawl), Cowbridge and the daddy of them all, Cardiff, in an awesome location across the river opposite the Millennium Stadium. Farmer's markets can be quite addictive, and it's nice getting to know the producers, and sampling their wares before you buy.

Singleton Park holds a Boot Sale opposite the hospital. It is fantastic as you can pick up loads of bargains and antiques! This event is on a Saturday but if you need a Sunday, Stormy Down or Rest Bay is recommended! Make sure to arrive at these early not to miss out!
