Went cycling in Glyncorrwg. What a great day. The valleys are beautiful and the people - yet the council should spend more in the valleys as the towns are so dirty a great day...a day never to forget.

We love the Gnoll park in Neath. Free parking, a lovely walk around the pond with duck feeding area. A beautiful setting. There are two parks, one for smaller children and one adventure playground. A great place for a family picnic and plenty of room to kick a ball around! The children also love going there when its raining and jumping in as many muddy puddles as possible!

Pembrey park in Llanelli is my favourite place. It has mini golf, skiing, horse riding, a lovely cafe and some beautiful cycle and walking tracks. We love to take our dogs there and cycle around the park and stop off for a picnic in one of the many picnic areas. There's a pond there for the dogs to cool off and you can feed the fish too. A beautiful beach is very close with a lovely cafe serving teas and ice creams. Up by the ski lodge is a bobsleigh ride too which takes you up to see fantastic views of the coast and brings you down with a thrill. An excellent day out for all the family.

Penbryn beach, about eight miles north of Cardigan. I don't have to travel far to reach some of the most spectacular costal scenery in the UK - worth a much longer trip - try it and see.

I love the Pembrokshire coast line; from Tenby you can walk to Saundersfoot along the beach and if your feeling energetic further on to Amroth which has a lovely pub overlooking the sea, Bosherston a must with the lily ponds; if you're lucky you'll see the frogs, stack rocks, Barafundle, Angle. Really I can go on and on; boat trips, relaxing walks, lots to see and do. Love it, can't wait to go back and visit my old haunts.

Manor Park in Tenby [just outside] has a real deal to offer. Wonderful wildlife conservation and well as a pets corner, and bug area for those close encounters [every day]. There are falconry displays, and a good variety of animals to see, including many primates. A wonderful little cafe to provide you with thse refreshments too. A great day out.

Margam Park is a great day out. £3 to park the car, free admission. There is now a crazy golf and improved Pets Corner, my kids love the Adventure playground and fairytale land. We spend the whole day there and the kids don't get bored.

Tenby without a question! Head to Dennis' cafe on the beach for a full Welsh breakfast, followed by an hour or two on the beach; a trip to Caldy Island, and rounded off by a wonderful creamy ice-cream.

I went To Heatherton off the back of their website. I had never been before, and didn't think of going... I would recommend this for anyone who has teenagers, with excelent facilities and activities like paintball, archery and go-karting, it's a must for the kids.

My idea of a great day out in the summer? Meet the boys for breakfast in Trams, Mumbles about 10 on a Saturday morning, then get to the pub at opening time and start the mother of all day benders! End up down Wine Street about 10 and see where the night takes you. Perfect.

I've improved even more now, I can swim a length, and it's all thanks to the Aquadome. The best day out in Port Talbot.

Folly Farm is far and away the best family attraction in Wales! It has a great zoo, vintage funfair, farm animals and activities and great indoor and outdoor play areas. They make such an effort in providing activities for kids during the holidays, and it's great value for money.

Mumbles is pretty good fun, theres lots to do and entertains adults and children alike. Verdi's ice cream parlour is a popular place to dine. There are many interesting little shops around and the beach is beautiful in good weather!

The best place to visit in wales in my opinion is Cefn-yr-Erw Primate Rescue.
It is a monkey sanctuary in Abercrave (it's just before Dan-yr-Ogof Caves).
It don't cost much to get in (£4 adults & £2.50 kids)it is a wonderful place for the whole family. They offer the chance for you to adopt a monkey for the year, which you get a free pass to visit your adopted choice for as many times as you want through out the year.

We had a wonderful ride at the Riding Centre in Marros. We were all made to feel very welcome and the horses we rode were perfectly matched to our needs. Good helmets and boots were supplied by the centre as we had all turned up in trainers. The ride was superb. We will be back.

Folly Farm is fab for the little ones, with all the farm animals and kids parks including a viking ship, the zoo and the hawk shows. And then of course the indoor fair from years ago where you get to ride authentic 1950 rides. The food is great and its good value. The kids can even feed a sheep or hold a guinea pig. Its a full day out.

Walking up to Llyn Y Fan Fawr on a sunny day, then up the mountain. A rocky wilderness. Vast panoramas. Makes me speechless.

Dan-yr-Ogof Caves are interesting and bring back memories but is a bit of a squeeze for tall people having to crouch down to get through the gaps. Tall people like myself certainly need the hard hats supplied, as it is so easy to knock our heads. I don't remember using hard hats when I was a child but then I wouldn't have been that big then.
Also, visiting Pembrokeshire is very nice. The countryside around there is unspoilt and the towns and villages are good for social life.
Having been brought up in the Bridgend area I like to keep in touch and normally stay with friends to take a trip to various places est of Swansea including the Gower to enjoy myself.

I enjoy donning my flat hat, sleavless jackett, chequed shirt, corderoys and wellington boots and walking through open places such as the Brecon Beacons, Gower Peninsular or the Pembrokshire Coastal path early on Saturday mornings. I enjoy the fresh air in my lungs which I feel gives me inspiration to play soccer on Saturday afternoons.

I like going for walks around the parks in Swansea. Coed Gwillym in Clydach is one of my favourite haunts. I like to walk my Corgi dogs "Dominic" and "Lewis" in these grounds. Then to finish the afternoon off a nice bag of traditional fish and chips washed down with a pint of Albright.

For go kart fans why not try Grove Land near St. Clears (A40) or for quad bikes there's the Shire Horse farm near Eglwyswrw.

Tenby is a great place for a fun day out but if you are looking for something a bit less crowded and more peaceful then Llansteffan beach and castle are the perfect combination. You can round off your day sitting on a seaside bench indulging in some delicious ice-cream from the nearby souvenir/coffee shop.

I'm nominating Margam Park - it is free to get in (though parking costs £2) and it is fantastic day out for kids and adults alike. Farm animals, birds of prey, fantastic kids playground, sectioned off area with little houses (fairy land) for kids to explore, wonderful walks and cycle trails, ducks to feed. Definitely worth a visit!

There can not be a more wonderful place to sit in Dale harbour scoffing tremendous sponge cake after a stunning scuba-dive around Skomer island or Stack Rocks. The underwater life is unparalleled any where in the UK. I could live that Groundhog day forever.

If you want a great day out for all the family, Folly Farm in Narberth is the place. Superb value for money with plenty to see and do, especially for younger children. Wheelchair and pushchair access all around the farm is unfaulted.

Our favourite family winter outing has to be to Llanstephan. We take a flask, lots of warm clothes and the kids take thier buckets to collect odds and ends. The place can be deserted and they are safe to roam. Failing that the millenium path in Llanelli is great for new bikes after christmas!

A trip to Tenby in the summer is always a family favorite.A boat ride over to Caldey Island helps to recharge our batteries and the pace of life is definatley in the slow lane there.Pam Pam is our place to go for lunch in Tenby, they are great with kids there, we always get a warm welcome.I used to go on my school trips to Tenby and the place hasn't changed a bit.A ride on the horse and trap is also very popular. We also like to visit Tenby in the winter when all the tourists have gone home. You see the place in a different light. The ghost walk proved to be popular with our kids one year as a birthday treat for our eldest son.The beach is spotlessly clean too.

My favourite day out is in Pembrokeshire - going down to Tenby on a sunny Sunday during the summer. Go down to the beach and then head into town for a nice meal. If the weathers really good catch the boat and go across to Caldey Island.
