My Terry - You are the love of my life. You are all I dream about and all I want in my life. Be mine forever....hold my hand always...kiss me tenderly always. I love you so much and will forever be your girl.

Although I live in London, I am from Wales and am seriously considering moving back. I grew up in Llantwit Major and my family has since relocated to Camarthen which is a beautiful part of Wales. Tea and scones in the tea rooms at Dynevor Castle is the ultimate way to spend one's time.

I was a dental tech at Brawdy Wales from 1976-1978. Enjoyed trying to play pool at the Duke and ordering those warm gin and tonics.....had great times walking the trails on the cliffs.

I was in the RCAF and served as a pilot on 517 Sqdn RAF in 1944 at Brawdy. I have very pleasant memories of Haverfordwest and area.

I was born in Llanhilleth, Gwent, but have lived most of my life (I am now aged 62)in London. Some years' ago I enjoyed eight (8) fun-filled days vacating in Tenby and fell in love with the town and surrounding area. The town has a good mix of vibrancy and tranquillity; the beaches are gorgeous and the landscape is lovely. I would like to retire to my country of origin and Tenby is my first choice resort because I love the place.

I miss my village of Llangennech, it has changed quite a bit now, but back when we were kids it was small and quiet. We used to play in the old brickworks, take walks up the morlais river (tickling) and up to Gotre Wen. Then go down the tide and fish it in. I also miss my old friends, I wonder where they are now?

My whole family is from Pontyates. I visited in '04 with my fiance. It was so good to go back and see everyone and show Matt some of the Welsh hospitality. Next step is to get my cousins to visit us out here! :)

I visited Wales on an exchange visit (GSE, Rotary International) and fell in love with the people, the landscape and the life in Wales instantly. It's as if God created every nook and corner with such care and detail. I think when anybody who's ever lived in Wales dies, he would be disappointed in heaven. "But," he would say, "We had it better down there!" I wish I could return to Wales someday.

Peggy Wood - New Zealand (Dinas Powys)
I am a Welshmans daughter, my father was born in Dinas Powys however he died when I was just a babe, so I never knew him. How proud I was to support our fellow contrymen in the rugby tour just past. Dinas Powys must be a very small area as there is not much about it on the information board. (Though I have been on the Vale of Glamorgan site and collected some info. Our sons are heading over on their OE in 2006 and my husband and I intend to visit in about 5 years. My Welsh roots are very strong (they must be as I love music and am always singing). I once heard that the Welsh are like the Italians and will break into song at the drop of a hat, what a lovely gift. Out of respect to my fathers homeland I intend to learn your beautiful language over the web and speak it when we visit, as I believe it is making a comeback (that's nice). Kind regards from a Welshmans daughter.

I remember the beautiful St. Brides Bay in South Wales. I loved going down to the Duke for a beer after a days work at the U.S. Naval Facility at Brawdy. The people were wonderful there. I wonder if the pub is still there. The owner was called Mac. I remember the twins, Jacquie & Carol Watts, which one did I fall in love with. I wonder where she's at now? It was 1974-1976 when I was there. Oh how things have probably changed.

When I visited Chepstow last fall I fell in love with Chepstow Castle, and the beautiful Wye Valley. Someday I shall return there, marry and live there. My heart is still there with in the walls of Chepstow Castle and a man I fell in love with.

We have just moved to Gwynfe Llangadog from the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia and while others tend to go the other way, we have found Wales in general to be one of the most beautiful countries we have live in. We brought our whole family of five plus our business and two dogs to this country to settle. And so far we just love it, even the weather is glorious!
