Step back into the past with the Year Five pupils of Prendergast School who in their own words tell us about the history of crime and punishment in Haverfordwest.

The Shire Hall is where the crown and magistrates courts were located. In the Crown Court a judge and twelve people decide whether someone is guilty or not. This is for serious crimes. The magistrates court is where one person decides whether someone is guilty or not. This is not for very serious crimes.
