Thunderchair started in the summer of 2004. The band consists of Jake Clarke; Vocals, Guitar, Bass and Keyboards, and Geriant Thomas; Guitar, Bass and Keyboards.
The band originally started out writing songs to humiliate their friends, but after a while the band started writing other songs about what they saw in the world.
The band records all their own material in 'The Chalet', a small, one floor house in Geraint's Backgarden. The band regularly plays small gigs at 'The Chalet' in front of friends.
The band so far have written over 60 songs and are continually coming out with new material.
