Suffering for his art...in a belly boat. David uses this floating studio so that he can sketch the Pembrokeshire coastline from an alternative view.

"You can use your easel here as you are sketching whereas if you're on a boat you've got to paddle. It's a wonderfully relaxing way of sketching. In the early days I used to wander the cliff paths having a look to see what's up there - it's wonderful scenery up there but underneath it's even better! There are so many exciting caves, arches, pinnicles, it's absolutely riveting."

I have also used many examples of Burns' work and found it intriguing.

We are travelling to the Tenby area next week for a short stay, and after reading through the web page it looks like a trip long over due, so looking forward to get some sketches and w/colour down on paper if like what it say's. A place once seen never to forgotten, a place to add to my travel list, but will report on the visit on our return.

Brendan Stuart Burns' work is interesting and beautiful. We have used examples of his work for various art projects and have really found them inspiring. We also love the coast of Pembokeshire and visit there regularly, so we can relate to Brendan's work.
