  • Where are you from originally and where are you now?: Crynant, now living in Pontardawe
  • What medium / media do you work in?: Mixed media, watercolour, oil, acrylic, emulsions, enamels, french polish, boot polish, nail polish, sand, etc.
  • How would you describe your work?
    Experimental expressionist
  • What are your influences and inspirations?: New York school of the 1950's
  • Which piece are you most proud of and why?: Triptych that shows the sadness of the world. I have had it shown in a local church during our local festival, and it has shown people about suffering and moved people.
  • Have you had any exhibitions - if so, where? Do you have any planned in the future?: Yes, in the Taliesin, Swansea, the Glynn Vivian, The Kilvert Gallery, Hay on Wye, The Pontardawe Arts Centre, The Washington Gallery in Penarth. I will be having an exhibition shortly in the Dylan Thomas Centre, Swansea
  • Please give a brief description of one or two of the projects you've worked on recently.: Won a Millennium award for my pottery class in Tairgwaith, and continue to teach pottery there.
  • What are your views on the current arts scene nationally and in South Wales?: It is vibrant and we are moving forward as a country, with recognition for young artists worldwide.
