Afan Forest Park
Afan Forest Park covers an area of 11,000 hectares. Most of this is woodland and is part of the 30,000 hectare Valleys Forest, the largest urban forest in Europe. The Forest Park is a popular destination for walking, cycling, orienteering, camping and educational visits.

Cymmer Afan and District Historical Society
This society formed in 1968 meets on a monthly basis in Cymmer. Section headings include - industry, shops and local authorities. This site contains information on the Bethania Photographic Museum.

Glyncorrwg Ponds and Mountain Bike Centre
Details on the world class mountain bike trails and visitor centre at Glyncorrwg. The ponds are used for fishing and canoeing.
