Kilvey Community Woodland offers a sculpture trail, woodland walks, Pluck Lake (a refuge for the blue-tailed damselfly and the emperor dragonfly), industrial and archaeological remains and great views over the city of Swansea. The project was one of the first large scale community environmental projects in Britain and aims to manage the area to promote conservation, recreation, education and community participation. New volunteers are always welcome. You can go wild in South West Wales with our selection of over 50 nature walks - or click here to visit our Places to Go guide!
