A public park since 1919, Singleton Botanical Gardens (incorporating Singleton Ornamental Gardens) displays a range of plants from all over the world in its Cactus, Tropical, Temperate and Economics Houses. Theres also a, Rose Terrace, Bog Garden and Herb Garden with access to the Singleton Ornamental Gardens with its Rock Garden, Archery Lawn and internationally famous Rhododendron collection.

Throughout August, there are demonstrations, lectures, guided walks, band concerts and activities for children on Sunday afternoons in the Botanics in Bloom festival.
