Afan Forest Park has 9,000 acres of woodland thats ideal for a range of activities including walking, cycling, orienteering, camping and educational visits or just to relax in a forest glade.

The Countryside Centre has a hands-on exhibition of the landscape and history of the Afan valley, café, gift shop and cycle hire facilities (including special tricycles for those with mobility problems). The Miners Museum explores the social history of the local mining communities and has a variety of indoor and outdoor exhibits including a blacksmiths shop.
