Swansea Environment Centre

Created in 1995 to help environmental groups in the region, the Environment Centre is a focal point for activities, education and information. Based in the Old Telephone Exchange in Swanseas Maritime Quarter, the Centre provides office space, meeting facilities, workshops, and other resources for local environmental groups.

The Centre offers a range of information services to answer your environmental queries including a library and Internet access, and a Demonstration Area for environmentally friendly construction methods. The centre has an extensive programme of events and exhibitions for all ages.

The centre's website provides a regularly updated guide to events run by the centre andother organisations, and they also produce 'Greenlight', a regular newsletter.
