British Trust for Conservation Volunteers

BTCV Cymru is the Welsh arm of the BTCV, the UKs largest practical conservation charity, providing volunteer training and hands-on experience in conservation. Founded in 1959, it helps over 130,000 volunteers every year take hands-on action to improve both the rural and the urban environment.

BTCV provides local conservation volunteering opportunities; supports community led environmental projects (over 4,000 groups each year); develops volunteer skills by organising courses and on-site training; and works with international partners to support the development of practical conservation projects in an International Conservation Network.
