I bought my 85 yr-old father (Bob Jacob) Katherine's first CD and he absolutely loved her voice. Imagine his delight when he saw an article about "the forces' sweetheart" and her photo.It meant a lot to him as he was in the RAF.The article/photo was quickly cut out of the newspaper and has pride-of-place next to a card from the queen my parents received for their 60th wedding anniversary. I may only be 13, and people my age listen to hip hop, r & b, pop etc., as I do as well. But when I hear Katherine's voice it's like I'm alone just listening. I love her version of 'Rejoice', it just makes me happy and relaxed after a bad day a school. Thank u Katherine 4 that.

I'm an agnostic and not a great lover of women's voices, they screech too much for my taste, but when I heard Kathryn singing 'Lisa Lan', I realised what all the fuss is about. I'm reading her autobiography and it's pulling me out of my winter blues, which is a tough call. Kathryn is truly inspirational and makes me proud to be Welsh.

The magnificent voices of the Welsh are world-renowned, but when you experience the genuine humility and warmth of Welsh singers like Katherine Jenkins and Aled Jones, there's another special trait for which Wales can be justifiably proud.

When she smiles, it is the sun breaking through the clouds on a stormy day. I met her on her winter tour at Bournemouth 2008, where she signed my programe "Happy 70th Birthday Brian". She is so talented, lovely but still keeps her feet on the ground. Bless you Katherine.

I haven't known about Katherine for very long. Only this year had I really heard of her, but since getting to know her beautiful singing voice and admiring her incredible physical beauty, I've also come to be very impressed by the person she is.

Entertaining the troops, visiting hospitals and sick children and she comes over as not at all aloof or self important like some other sopranos. From her interviews I can surely tell that she's a warm, caring and very lovely person who is very proud of her country. I shall make a point of visiting Wales when I can as a tribute.

Have followed Katherine's progress for many years. I have two grandaughters (one with a name of Katherine) with just average voices but they enjoyed their singing in Cathedrals. I was proud of them and can imagine how Katherine's family are proud of her. Katherine Jenkins has the talent and beauty to be Wales' greatest treasure. I saw her for the first time perform live at Womersley Park in Doncaster in aid of charity and could not believe how good she was.

She does have a beauty that is not only skin deep and came over as a warm, friendly and caring person. An excellent role model and ambassador for Wales. She is very proud of her nationality and rightly so!

I have now bought all of her 4 albums and a DVD and she deserves all the credit she gets. She is truly amazing and does so much for charity that goes unrecognised. I can't wait to see her again soon but will be emigrating to Australia within the year. Can anybody give me details of her Fan Club if she has one? Keep up the good work Katherine, you are truly an angel from heaven!
