Famous For: The hero of the Battle of Waterloo
Biography: He began his career as Governor of Trinidad, but he famously distinguished himself in the Napoleonic wars, where he commanded the Fighting Division in the Peninsular Campaign. He was killed at the Battle of Waterloo and is the only Welshman to be buried at St Paul's Cathedral.
