Gwyn and Barbara Walking
Cost:1
Difficulty: 1
Fun: 9

Gwyn and Barbara love the variety of enjoyment that walking offers, as well as the incidental benefits they gain from the exercise, and the overall relaxing effect that it has on their lives.

Tell us about it
We both enjoy walking, particularly on the hills surrounding the Pontarddulais area and on its coastal pathways. It's relaxing and good exercise.

How long have you done it?
We've been walking for years.

What do you enjoy most?
The fresh air and its plants and the wildlife that you see.

Who would enjoy it?
Anyone of any age, and you don't need to be 'super fit'.

Other points
Every walk is different and each time you go, the weather and light is different from the time before.

Value for money
Apart from equipment (you do need a good pair of boots and waterproofs) it's free!

Where is it?
You can join the local Ramblers or you can do it yourself.
