Wales Millennium Centre

Diversions Dance - one of the many artistic bodies resident at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay. The national society promoting the writers and literature of Wales. The bilingual website includes a database of Welsh writers, plus details of publications, events, competitions and funding schemes.

National Dance Company Wales

Formerly known as Diversions, it commissions and premiers work from some of the world's most exciting choreographers. It also has an extensive programme of community work including school visits.

Hijinx Theatre

A professional group taking theatre to the people with regular performances of accessible new plays in towns and villages around Wales. It also runs the Odyssey Theatre community group, a quarter of whose members have learning disabilities.

Touch Trust

A charity which uses music and movement as therapy for children and adults with profound disabilities and autism.

Ty Cerdd - Music Centre Wales

Information and advice about a range of musical activities in Wales. The site lists as many as 400 amateur music-making societies and choirs all over the nation. Their base serves as a "Music House", including a recording studio, listening booths and an extensive library.

Urdd Gobaith Cymru

The national youth organisation for Wales has its headquarters here, plus a 150-bed hostel for visiting youngsters.

Welsh National Opera

The WNO will continue touring nationally and internationally, but for the first time it has a place to call home, with performance and rehearsal space under the same roof.

BBC National Orchestra of Wales

The orchestra has its home at the WMC in a state-of-the-art recording and rehearsal facility called BBC Hoddinott Hall.
