Mental health patients expressed their feelings in an
art competition launched by the charity Mind in 2004.

Linda Hart was the winner with The one that got away.

"I put empty paint tubes onto the canvas and painted them white. They reminded me of people in straight jackets. I then moulded heads into them. The last one I stepped on, it was red, so it became the one that got away."

See the exhibition at the Washington Gallery, Penarth, and the
Temple of Peace, Cathays Park, Cardiff, from February 21 to 28.
