Cardiff-based photographer David Hardacre takes us through a selection of images from his first3noflash exhibition which was shown at the city's Old Library in January 2004.
"Having only seen Bowie live a couple of times prior to this I was pretty excited about photographing him. On stage, Bowie is a complete professional, totally aware of the photographers in the pit and what they expect of him.
"So many artists will see photographers as a nuisance, but Bowie recognises the value of publicity."
