Sun 18 June - Hazel Blears and the BNP
"I fear that Labour Party chairman Hazel Blears is not with it when she refers to the success of the BNP in some local elections.
"I, for the want of a better word, 'operate' at street level, unlike Ms Blears, who I would guess gets her data from like minded colleagues, and other offical and quasi official sources, and I can assure her that there is more to it than just a 'protest' vote.
"For some decades the ordinary people, especially those on pittance wages, and who may or may not, live on 'sink' estates, have had to suffer the worst that the economic establishment has thrown at them.
"They have had to take massive inroads into their weekly budgets from a chancellor and his co conspirators in big business, whilst the wealthy have been witnessed enjoying an ever upwards hike in their remuneration, quite often being perceived to be in receipt of massive salaries for what appears to be little input.
"Some aspects of life have somewhat improved, I don't doubt. The health service and a general overall upwards movement in the basic wages for example, but there has been a decompression of the actual wealth of the lower wage earner, massive increases in, 'at the point of pay' taxes, road fuel, heating and lighting being prime examples.
"Massive increases for those on meagre takehome pay, but miniscule percentage rises for those on the average salary and above. Of course once the average salary level has been overcome, the percentage tax effect on those whose pay is higher diminishes almost logarithmically.
"Is it any wonder under such stresses the voters in deprived areas and circumstances feel alienated and turn to what is perceived to be a messianic movement and party to see them out of the hole the feel they are in.
"Get your priorities right Ms Blear, return to your Old Labour ethos and to hell with all the ass licking of the money establishment, then perhaps your party may see a return to the glory days that we all hoped for when we stuck you into power in 1997.
"For sure as the day is 24 hours long, the chances of your return after the next election is slowly being whittled away by this erosion, as the likes of the BNP and such take your place in local elections. It won't be long before trhey also manage to snatch some of your places in Westminster.
"Forget the spin from your sycophants, listen to the voice of the real people, those who cast their vote for the BNP."
