Sun 5 March - Lowri Turner on gay lifestyle

"This lady makes certain so called homophobic comments in a newspaper and all hell breaks loose. Why so? after all she made comments that have a bearing on the way of the future in this disjointed country (UK).

"A very small, but obviously loud mouthed, minority of people with a bent and warped view of how they should speak, act and behave, seem to have wrested a degree of control from the normal and ordinary population, by virtue of them being able to sway certain sectors to the opinion that they are under attack for their sexual preferences.

"What about the multi millions who do not subscribe to this off way of expressing their sexuality? Why should we have to put up with this nonsense just because a very minor number of deviants insist that we do?

"We come down hard on paedophiles, wife beaters and all manner of other practioners of deviant behaviour, so what have the homosexuals got that requires such a degree of 'protection'?

"They choose to live this lifestyle, which patently gets up the noses of millions of those who are subjected to watching what they say or do, whenever in the presence of these people, so why do they expect us all to kow tow to their funny and peculiar way of living.

"I go along with the idea that they are not to be subjected to abuse either verbal or physical, but why do they have to keep on presenting themselves up for it whenever someone makes a coment that they are not comfortable or au fait with that way of life.

"As I have said eleswhere in my coloumn, if they wish to pursue that queer way of life, then do so by all means, but leave the rest of us out of it, and the simplest way of achieving that is to be quiet and keep a low profile, then you won't get as much flack as you do whenever you come out into the public domain.

"Just keep one very serious thing in mind, the vast majority of the population, not just of the UK, but also apparently the whole world, is 'normal' in that they keep to the natural regulation of male + female being the way things are under the design of nature.

"If you wish to break out of that regime, and opt for something different, do not complain, as you may find (as you often do) that the 'rest' are likely to object in more ways than one. Simply writing that they do so, is the least harmful way of expressing ones objection, and maybe disgust."
