Meeting People

It was nice to work with people from different communities and take part in activities. As a young person I didn't feel out of place. I was always part of the team and had my say in things.

It's also nice to see women from black and minority ethnic communities taking part in these activities. They are normally isolated and don't take part because they don't have access or they don't have the time.

The other Somali women were pleased to be able to go swimming and to aerobics classes, as they had not been able to do these activities before.
