Weird Nation

Diane from Rogerstone

I used to live in an old stone cottage in Rogerstone and we had been out for the day with friends.

When we came back we all went in to the bar area there were eight of us in the room at the time.

We have two dogs and both dogs came in to the room.

All of a sudden the German shepherd was so scared she was trying to get behind my stool nearly hitting me off.

She kept looking in to the corner of the room and was shaking - she had never reacted like this before, and this lasted for about 15 minutes.

She was familiar with our friends and ever tried to get in to the boot of their car to go home with them, so it wasn't that.

We couldn't see what had made her so scared but once it had gone she was OK like nothing had happened.

Another time we had family around for the night.

At exactly same time my husband and sister in law looked towards the stairs (which had bulls eye glass in it) and saw a mist coming down the stairs.

By time we turned around it was gone. They were white as a sheet.

My daughter saw the same white mist by the front door.

We went out for a night and a picture of my brother who had recently passed and a wedding photo of myself and husband were on the window sill leaning up against it.

When we came back they were facing each other.

We have since moved from the house as i never felt it was my home - it felt like I was minding it for some one...
