Weird Nation

Joshua's story - Cwmbran

It was a Friday and I was in school and one of my teachers asked me to go from A block to B block.

I couldn't be bothered to walk all the way around so I decided to walk through this very small corridor and up some very narrow stairs.

They led up to the attic of A block which used to be a manor house and then a private girls' school where all the teachers were nuns.

Well I finaly got up to the attic and I was walking through it until I got to the second set of stairs which were also very narrow.

I got about halfway down the stairs when I heard footsteps coming from both in front and behind me.

I didn't know what to do as we all wouldn't be able to pass on the stairs so I carried on.

Then there was some old person there dressed in old clothes - I just thought it as an old person who had no fashion sense.

They said "Walk back up so I can pass" so I did, then I looked back but there was no-one there.

I didn't hear any footsteps so I ran all the way down to try to find them.

At the bottom of the stairs there is just another long corridor with no doors so I would have been about to spot the person!

I went to the main office and asked if an old pale person came in the school.

They said no - they even checked the video tapes in case there was someone but they couldn't find anyone.
