A pleasant, fairly easy walk with lovely views, passing through the village of Groeswen and following the Taff Trail and Ridgeway Path in places.
There are some steep ascents and descents and the path can be muddy in places.

I am from Rhydyfelin and I have walked the Taff Trail maney times on my way to Caerphilly, on wet days and dry days, and it was a pleasant walk.
