Skateboarding with Dirty Sanchez

Vicki Collins, 15, from the Sport Relief funded Fairbridge youth project in Cardiff reports on their day out with Pancho and Pritchard at Newport Skatepark in June 2006.
See some photos of the dayFairbridge does lots of wicked sports stuff through being given support through Sport Relief. One of the opportunities that we were given was to learn skating with The Dirty Sanchez boyz.
When I arrived at Fairbridge I was so excited about the day, I had never skate boarded before and was looking forward to meeting some celebrities.
Fairbridge gave us these really cool skate boards from the guys at Stateside Skates to use for the day and we all picked our favourite ones.
We all then talked about the day and what was going to happen, after that we jumped in the Fairbridge van and set off on our journey.
In the van we were all very excited and talked about meeting the Dirty Sanchez boys - they are really famous on MTV and really funny too.
When we arrived at the skate park we introduced ourselves to all the TV people, newspaper people and the Dirty Sanchez boys.
Then they asked for a young person to be the reporter for the day and that was me.
I had a really cool camera given to me and went round taking pictures of all the young people.
Pritchard and Pancho put the young people into 2 groups and they had a play around.
They were showing them all different kind of tricks - the young people were skateboarding down ramps into a box of sponge that looked really fun.
We all had a really good day and I really enjoyed being the reporter.
