I was just 8 at the time but remember it well, worst snow I've seen. I used to live in Rumney, Caswell Road and remember the pylon came down in the village, outside the old butchers, caused mayhem!! I miss Cardiff a lot so looking at these photies is great, lots of fond memories.

My brother was a newspaper delivery boy at that shop. The owner at that time had a grey mini van in grey and took us on the rounds. I remember the snow - it was hard to find bread and milk too.

At 12 years I was able to go to the Quarry, did'nt go down on a bag, too scared. The snow was so, so high. Never seen the like again in Cradiff.
