I've had many a good night at this little place. Bonfire night is just the best display in the entire South Wales region, It also keeps the firemen in a job!!!!

Had a few drinks in this pub in the early 70s. It was then run by a very old lady (Mrs Dark?). Once I asked her for a bottle of red wine. She looked at me in disbelief and disappeared in to her cellar for a very, very long time. She re-emerged with a bottle of what must have been something like elderberry wine or whatever fruit concoction...
