St Anne's Hospice in Malpas, South Wales, is registered for 10 specialist palliative care beds, offering patients and their families free help with physical, psychological, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
Without its army of volunteers giving their time and energy to support the full-time staff, St Anne's would simply be unable to continue the services it provides.
St Anne's has a range of volunteering opportunities:
- shop based
- office based
- driving
- occasional events and collections
- fundraising
- sponsoring a fundraiser / making a donation
- help St Anne's from your home
- some Hospice based opportunities
January 2007 marked a big step forward in fundraising for St Anne's Hospice with the official opening of its latest charity shop, in Newbridge in the County Borough of Caerphilly.
Together with the existing shops in Newport's High Street and Malpas Road, it needs help with donations of good quality clothing, footwear, bric-a-brac, books and toys.
If you're interested in volunteering in the shop or helping St Anne's in any way please drop in to any of the Hospice Shops, or contact Terry Woodsford at the St Anne's Hospice Fundraising Office on 01633 820286 or email twoodsford@stanneshospice.org.uk.
