What do you most like doing in your spare time? Playing the flute, clarinet and piano, singing, reading, writing, playing netball, laughing, being with my friends, going on my computer and being dopey!!
What do you hate doing?
Watching boring films, bleep tests and wearing skirts or dresses!
What do you want to do when you get older?
Be a music therapist and work with autistic children or be in an orchestra playing the clarinet.
How did you hear about the Musical Youth project?
A woman in school called Theresa Green asked whether there were any people in our school who could sing and my friends (Lauren, Natalie and Ceri) and I said we could so we went along and met Jay and Gareth.
What did you do once you get involved?
We went down our local leisure centre to practise every Wednesday and went to the recording studios to record the three songs. We also did two live shows, on in Blaenavon workman's hall and another in the Congress Theatre in Cwmbran.
Did you write a song yourself or record one of the songs?
I didn't write a song myself. My friends and I recorded three songs Bitter Little Pill and Don't Throw It All Away in which we were backing singers and 'Higher' which was our own.
Did you enjoy the project?
The project was absolutely brilliant and I enjoyed everything about it!!!
Was there anything you didn't like?
No, I loved every bit of it!
What did you learn from the project?
How to perform on stage better and never to take any drugs of any kind!
