Jamie's Welsh Journeys

Jamie Owen kayaking in the Wye

Following the success of his sailing trips around the coastline of Wales, Jamie Owen once again sets off on his travels.

Ross on Wye to Chepstow
Programme 1

Jamie's journey begins just over the border in Ross on Wye, once known as the 'Gateway to the Wye'. What better way to soak up the landscape than to canoe down river. Unfortunately for Jamie, a soaking is exactly what he gets as his film crew's kayak ram into his canoe sending him into the river Wye (above). Never one to let a small mishap get the better of him, Jamie continues his journey towards Chepstow where he edges his bets on Ladies Night at the Racecourse.
