The charity is currently recruiting people with a variety of skills to support and expand the work of the Compass Centre by donating at least 2 hours a week for approximately 6 months.
Based in Pill, the centre provides training and support for the homeless and socially excluded in South East Wales in a range of activities.
Solas wish to recruit volunteers who are able to transfer their skills to our clients in the areas of art, drama and performance, catering, music, life skills, IT, communication skills and sports.
Volunteers will ulimately support the students' transition to further education, training and employment.
For the skills and time the volunteers give, Compass will offer support, training, out-of-pocket expenses and the experience of having an impact on the lives of other people living in their communities.
For further information and to arrange an informal interview contact Andrew Clarke, Compass Centre Manager on 01633 718030.
