Graham may be wrong about the date of this picture. I think the car is an Austin tourer owned by Miss Williams, the daughter of the owner of the Cabin. He lived in the house next door in Conway Road and had a ship's lifeboat in the garden. The Cabin was actually a deckhouse of a ship
which Mr Williams bought from Cashmores. I knew Mr Williams all my childhood days - he was never known to wear a shirt, just a sleeveless v-neck pullover. I would put the date of the picture nearer 1937.
