In The Frame - Newport Homeless

Homelessness does not neccessarily mean living rough on the streets. Many people live in hostels or bed and breakfast. We asked a resident and an ex-resident of Solas-Cymru hostels to take photos on themes such as 'my space' and 'treasure'.
"I'd like to be sorted, settled, comfortable, with my little boy." |
"I once lived in a hostel. It's quiet if you keep yourself to yourself." |

I think Jason is fantastic giving up his own time to help others. I am also a volunteer at Compass alongside Jason and the way he works with the students is amazing - his presence makes it a brighter place to be.

I think what Jason is doing as a volunteer is abosolutely invaluable to charitable organisations. I know that the Pilot Project or Compass as it is now called are crying out for volunteers, so if there is anyone with woodwork skills willing to be a volunteer get in touch.
