This was taken in my bedroom. I had a whole year of hospitals and so forth, and this was the culmination of (please god) a very successful knee replacement. This is part of me going through life and surviving on one's own actually.
Now the zimmer has gone, and I'm still managing very well indeed. I hate to say this - there's a commode in the corner, which was an absolute essential thing for me living on my own.
I don't like living on my own but am making the best of it.
I do as much as I can for myself, and just thank god that I've had such a wonderful life, wonderful husband, wonderful family, and thank goodness I can still drive.
