If I were an AM for the day, I would like to spice up Cowbridge High Street so that it caters more for the younger generation rather than the elderly.
It's quite good to have a contrast of the old and the new. It shows that both generations can interlink.

Most of it is clothes shops that cater for the elderly from age range about 50 and over. There's only one shop that caters clothing wise for the young, and that's off the High Street. It's in a little alley way, so it's not even direct.
I think Cowbridge is generally viewed as an elderly residential area. It's quite posh, and they want to keep everything neat and proper.
It's quite frustrating because it would be nice to go to a town that's quite close by to get something you want instead of having to travel half an hour to go to Cardiff. It would be more convenient, especially for the families of the kids who live in Cowbridge.
I'd like to fundraise and to encourage some shops to come in and put their buildings up in the town for younger people - clothes shops for them and maybe a few games shops to encourage them. I think that could really help the profit of the town. It would encourage a lot more young people in who usually go to Cardiff and Bridgend.
It would be quite unnecessary to change the whole rustic look of the town, but if you brought newer shops in that would modernise the town and it's quite good to have a contrast of the old and the new. It shows that both generations can interlink.

After watching Jade's clip, I truly understand her situation. There should really be more shops in that area for the younger generation (teenagers) as well as the elderly.
