If I were an AM for the day, I would improve the sports facilities in the local area.

You go to other schools and you just feel embarrassed because it's so bad.

David
I think Cowbridge is seen as quite and affluent area, and is neglected.

At the moment we do have a tennis court and a rugby club, but there's no real football facilities and no swimming pool like most of the Vale leisure centres have.

There's a bowling green for the older people and a park for younger people, but nothing for teenagers to do, so they're left out on the streets and bored.

The school is mainly the base for the sports facilities, but they really lack at the minute. You go to other schools and you just feel embarrassed because it's so bad.

Llantwit School's got a huge leisure centre with polished floors and bright lights, and we've got old wooden squeaky floors and piping running around the outside of our walls. The touchlines are literally on the wall.

The athletics facilities are one sand pit squeezed on to the edge of a hockey pitch, and a 200m track put on a hockey pitch.

We need a new gym, new rugby pitches, a swimming pool in the leisure centre, and a football club.

The first XV pitch was used for the first club match in Wales - it should be treasured as a national shrine!!! We have a sporting heritage like no other in Wales, it should be recognised with better facilities.

I can't believe how crap your sport facilities are when Cowbridge is so posh. Cardiff leisure centres are so much better equipped and I love your photo of your swimming pool.

Geraint
It's crazy how little there is for teenagers in Cowbridge. The football club is based in Corntown and if you live there and go to Cowbridge school you can't play for the club because it's outside the area. The football teams play in 3 different areas and the only pitch in town is the leisure centre's which has to be booked by the club Other leisure centres provide so much more than Cowbridge.

Lewis
I've been in Cowbridge for 15 years - there's been a petition for a swimming pool 3 times and AMs come around before election saying they'll be pushing for a swimming pool. Rubbish - a lot of sport outside school is members only with an expensive charge which not all people can afford.

Brill, what about journalism?

Andrew Burnett, Pencoed
Court yard don't have lines, basketball hoops don't have nets, flooded fields and this is the way that the school encourages sport to their students.

Lisa Jones, Cardiff
Your 'Rugby 2' picture is fantastic! Really spooky and is composed beautifully. 'Graffiti' is brilliant too, the caption made me laugh! Great stuff.
